Book Sculpture

From 2009 to 2013 I worked as a freelance artist. My book sculptures won the Visitors Choice award at the Brighton Fringe Exhibition 2013. My artwork was about the ways in which a story travels, shifts, is uttered, muttered, passed on and grown. Books are powerful objects, but not at all the end of the story, and my art was a physical process of reimagining the worlds hidden within the folds.
